The Re-designed Ranger Makes its Return to Tatamagouche, NS
After an 8-year hiatus, the Ranger is making its return to Ford’s lineup. The rugged mid-sized pickup has a range of new features to supplement Ford’s storied heritage of tough and capable trucks. All-terrain capability is the foundation the all-new Ranger is built on. Challenging roads less travelled is made easier on your vehicle with the addition of bash and skid plates, as well as the addition of all-terrain tires. Adventure is never far away with the Ford Ranger, arriving in early 2019 to Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, down at Tri-County Ford!
Updated Off-Road Capability
The Ranger’s off-road foundation starts with the FX4 Off-Road Package, featuring a status screen that lets you monitor the pitch and roll of your ranger, along with the steering angle of the front wheels. Available Trail Control acts like an off-road cruise control, maintaining a low speed on tough terrain. Conquer the obstacles of off-road terrain at a push of a button with Ranger’s available Terrain Management System. Select from normal, grass/gravel/snow, mud ruts, or sand mode. If that isn’t enough, an available electronic rear-locking differential adds extra traction for hills, slopes and terrain of any kind.
The all-new Ranger is stacked with the latest Ford truck-assist technology. Lead by available adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping system, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, and Blind Spot Information System. That’s not all, FordPass Connect keeps you always connected in even the most remote areas as it creates an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot to which you can connect up to 10 devices!
